Share breakfast-time with the bears at Yorkshire Wildlife Park
In Issue 53 we talk all things polar bear, so we’re offering the chance for one lucky person to win a feeding experience with the impressive animals at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, near Doncaster.
The experience starts before the Park opens to the public so that you can meet Victor, Pixel, Nissan or Nobby. You will start the day with a hearty VIP breakfast in the Safari Café. When you’ve finished your breakfast, one of the carnivore rangers will walk you up to Project Polar.
At Project Polar, you will get to help one of the carnivore rangers hide enrichment around the Project Polar reserve for the bears to forage. In the house, you will have the fantastic opportunity to come face to face with either Victor, Pixel, Nobby or Nissan as you feed them some of their favourite treats!
After the bears have been fed, you can watch from the walkway as the bears are released into the 10-acre Project Polar reserve to enjoy the enrichment you left.
To enter, tell us your most memorable animal encounter – email your funniest, loveliest, scariest or most awe-inspiring experience to firstname.lastname@example.org
The competition is only open to UK residents, and closes at 5pm on the 5th January. Please note, the experience is only suitable for children over the age of 8 and all children must be accompanied by an adult (16+).
