Bruno (right) turned four years old in December 2014. He now has a new baby brother called Sinum, and although he still spends time with his mother Latili, little Sinum is taking up most of his mother’s time. As such, this gentle soul can often be found in the company of his playful best friends Bruno, Ossie, Niji and Patrick, near the Ol Pejeta dam.
Between the age of seven and ten he will start having to compete with other black rhino males for breeding rights to females, so he’s enjoying the quiet while it lasts. The Ol Pejeta staff have no doubt that Bruno will be an excellent breeding partner for their resident females.
