Welcome to day 1 of our week-long campaign! We’re bringing you news from rhino rangers, quizzes and an amazing new competition every day.
Each day you’ll get to meet a different rhino, and keep up to date with what’s going on with the remaining wild rhinos. All we ask in return is that you donate what you can to help out Ol Pejeta conservancy.
Our friends at Ol Pejeta conservancy in Kenya are struggling financially, and we want to help them out. With support from zoos around the UK and our lovely readers we’re hoping to get donations flooding in. Since the Ebola outbreak in March 2014, Ol Pejeta CEO Richard Vigne tells us that tourism to Kenya has dropped. Without the money from tourism, the conservancy is low on funds needed to protect their rhinos.
That’s where we come in! Donations are accepted on Ol Pejeta’s JustGiving site or you can adopt one of their rhinos.
